Bean Dry Pole Iroquois Skunk is a treasured heirloom from the Haudenosaunee of the Great Lakes, this early-maturing pole bean thrives in northern gardens and delivers exceptional versatility. Vigorous vines exceed 8 feet, producing abundant pods throughout the season with striking black-and-white patterned dry beans that cook quickly with a creamy, delicious flavor. Harvest immature for tender snap beans or allow pods to fully mature for reliable dry bean storage and seed saving. These impressive climbers scale tall cornstalks with ease—even those reaching 7–9 feet—making them both highly productive and visually ornamental in the garden. The prolific nature of this variety ensures generous yields from minimal space.
