Norfolk Island Pine, aka Araucaria Heterophylla, is a majestic, evergreen tree known for its symmetrical shape and soft, needle-like leaves. Despite its common name, it is not a true pine but shares a similar aesthetic. Originating from Norfolk Island in the South Pacific, this plant is often used as a living Christmas tree indoors due to its conical shape and tiered branches, and you can have them all year round. It can grow quite large in its natural habitat but remains a manageable size when potted as a houseplant. The Norfolk Island Pine appreciates bright light and some humidity, making it a splendid addition to home décor, where it adds a touch of serene, forest-like charm.
