Anna: The Bridal Shower Dress you've been dreaming of…

Anna - Perfect. Chic. Modern. THE Little White Dress for your Bachelorette, Rehearsal and First Dance. Practically designed to twirl at your wedding reception. We adore the Rose Floral Jacquard paired with chic airy Light Blue Ribbon Straps. Flattering princess seams and a fun stylish flared skirt create an utterly feminine engagement photo outfit.

The irresistibly feminine and fun little white dress you'll want to wear again and again—whether your bridal shower is a grand brunch affair or an intimate afternoon tea, the Anna is a must-have bridal shower dress for the blushing bride and any number of parties thrown in her honor. And...we have it on good authority that it will photograph beautifully as your guests capture picture after picture of the stunning bride and groom.

Pair with a low heel for a stylish daytime look or to highlight the modern design of this dress, we suggest styling with a sleek stiletto.

The quintessential LWD for the bride who knows her way around a style moment.

Why Brides Love the Anna Bridal Shower & Rehearsal Dinner Dress

The floral rose fabric, the airy ribbons, the gorgeous buttons…too many reasons to count!

"I must have flowers, always and always," Monet once said, and we couldn't agree more, especially with the breathtakingly gorgeous rose pattern woven into the fabric.

Timeless pearl and crystal buttons—inspired by heirloom jewelry—offer the perfect compromise between vintage and modern style.

seems like an unspecified struggle with herself
Format: Hardcover
I don't know. It'ts a struggle for her to come up with the next line. Doesn't feel especially creative, inspired, or notably intelligent. I read other disappointed reviews people had written about this book, & bought it anyway. I tend to have avant-garde sensibilities, so I thought I'd enjoy it for its avant-garde qualities. I really tried to appreiate the experimentality of it, but I couldn't, because I realised I was readin it more for the sake of reading, & because I enjoy reading, than because this book is any good. I know a lot of unskilled teenagers who write dada-influenced poetry that's much more interesting than this uninspired book; I don't see what makes Anne Carson so special. 1 star because it's not a good book. 1 more star, bringing the total to 2, because I feel bad just giving it 1 star. At least she wrote something...

A Slip-Up
Format: Paperback
I don't know what happened here but Carson's last two books have really gone down hill. Men in the Off Hours, her first book since Autobiography of Red, is a mess. I don't know how else to describe it. It's not that I'd expect an easy read after her last book--just a consistent one. There are poems in here that first appeared in prose elsewhere and now are in lines! This suggests a lack of understanding of the line and its history and uses on the part of the writer, which shocks me since Plainwater and Autobiography of Red I truly liked. I would not suggest this book if you like Anne Carson. It will disappoint you!

It’s alright
Format: Paperback
Definitely would be great for a teenager. As a 20 year old, not my favorite at all. If I was in junior high, I would’ve loved this book, but as an adult could not finish it. Love the cowboy theme and Texas A&M references though!

Daughters new Favorite

Our 14 year old expressed interest in reading as a hobby, so she asked for books by this author. Couldn’t be happier. She loved it! Finished it in 3 days! Age appropriate content that came off the pages, engaging the reader!
