Linen is a fabric that was affordable and accessible for everyone in lower and working classes. The gown is the typical garment seen in artwork and descriptions of the time. This particular style has the elegance of clean lines and carefully laid pleats. This blends with the functionality of the pinning front closure, which makes it adjustable for weight fluctuation, and the 3/4 sleeve which comes down below the elbow and protects the arms, but not to the wrist where it would easily soil and hinder movement. 

The gown consists of the upper portion that is put on like a jacket and pinned in front, with a full-length skirt in the back, and a standard petticoat. This gown is shown with and without a split bum skirt support. This elevates the silhouette and social class of the gown. The same gown can be worn without the skirt support for a less extreme silhouette and ease of movement, making it versatile for many situations and environments.

Glowy but not sure about the spf

My first impression was that this works more like a basic body shimmer than anything else. The Glistening Bronze shade gives a noticeable glow, especially on arms and shoulders. It spreads easily and adds a warm shimmer in the light, but the overall effect feels pretty simple and more cosmetic than skincare focused. In use, the oil blends in smoothly and feels lightweight on the skin. It does leave a bit of moisture behind, similar to a light body oil, and the shimmer shows up well outdoors. The bronze tone is fairly deep, so it seems better suited for medium to darker skin tones or anyone who wants a stronger bronzed glow. The product mentions SPF 45, but there is very little information about the sun protection side of it, so I personally treat this more like a shimmer oil than a sunscreen.
