The day you put this on, your family is photographing you and the chief is shaking your hand. We don't get this one wrong.
Every piece arrives pre-built to CAL FIRE Policy 1500 specification. Coat patches sewn, Eureka buttons set, cuff striping correct for your rank, hat brass mounted, name plate engraved and pinned. You don't unbox a kit and assemble it — you unbox a Class A uniform that's already inspection-ready.
What's in the package
- Class A double-breasted coat — wool-blend regulation weight, two rows of Eureka gold buttons, gold cuff striping for your rank, CAL FIRE Maltese-cross shoulder patches sewn on before shipping
- Matched Class A trousers — same fabric and dye lot as the coat, full lining, hemmable for proper break
- White long-sleeve dress shirt — regulation fold-over collar
- Black regulation tie — proper length and width to spec
- Belt + brass buckle — brass-toned to match your insignia and buttons
- Black dress socks
- Class A officer or enlisted cap — built to your rank's model, correct crown shape and brass set
- Engraved name plate — polished, ready to pin
- All brass + insignia mounted — rank, branch, L2881 endorsement if applicable
Sizing — free fitting, three ways
- Walk in. Free fitting 7 days a week at our Redding store (991 Lake Blvd, Suite A1) or Ione satellite (14 W. Main Street). About 20 minutes with a Brannock device and our tailor on the floor.
- Submit measurements online. We provide a guided measurement video and cross-check against your department's size chart on file. If anything looks off, we call before we cut.
- Department file. Ordered with us before? We pull your measurements forward — just tell us if you've gained or lost more than 10 lbs.
Free correction within 14 days of delivery. If a patch, sleeve break, or hem is off, we cover return shipping and re-tailor at our cost.
Before you order — confirm two things
- Your rank. Cuff striping, hat style, and brass set differ by rank. Order for the rank you'll hold the day you wear it.
- Your branch. Operations, prevention, admin, and L2881-endorsed carry different patch and brass configurations. We default to operations / Maltese — note a different branch in checkout.
Not included
- Department badge — most CAL FIRE units issue this directly. We can source one if needed.
- White gloves (parade or pallbearer duty) — sold separately.
L2881-endorsed builds available. Promotion mid-order, branch transfer, or a non-standard situation? Call (530) 215-1522 before your cut date and we'll re-spec it.

The best wrist rest I've used.
Size: Compact, Pattern Name: Keyboard
It has just the right balance of firmness and softness. The cooling gel does keep it cool. It is durable. Its rubber grip holds it firmly on my desktop. If I need another one, I will purchase this product.

Clear upgrade from my Blue Yeti - crisp sound and sleek design!
Style: QuadCast 2 S
I used to have a Blue Yeti mic, and the HyperX Quadcast 2 S is a clear improvement. The sound quality is noticeably crisper and more natural, and it doesn't pick up as much background noise. It's also not as bulky or distracting on my desk, which I appreciate.
The RGB lighting looks really nice without being super over the top. Setup was super easy. Literally just plug it in and use it, no issues at all.
So far, I honestly don't have any flaws to point out. It does exactly what I need for calls and recording clips, while looking good on my desk. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a reliable, good quality mic. Worth the price!

If you don't like those <$60 mics, this is a good option
Style: QuadCast S, Style: QuadCast S
TLDR: Clear and professional-sounding mic that’s easy to set up. But it’s very sensitive — expect background noise to be picked up. Great for Discord or calls with noise suppression, less ideal for raw recording without filters.
Packaging and Setup: Comes with a solid stand already attached, so you can drop it on your desk and start using it right away. No need to buy extra mounts unless you want more flexibility. I use it with a boom mount and it is very nice. The mic also comes with a 3.5mm jack if you want to plug your headphones in and hear yourself back. There is a software that you can download to control the RGB and (if you use the 3.5mm plug) the amount of sidetone you hear back from speaking in your headphone
Keypoints:
Sound Quality: Super clear voice capture — it really makes you sound better compared to built-in or headset mics. People notice the difference right away.
Sensitivity: Picks up a lot, even on the most restrictive mode. Keyboard clicks, other people talking in the room, etc. For Discord with noise suppression it’s excellent, but without any software filtering it can sound busy. Even on lowest amount of gain, you still pick up those sounds
Build & Design: Sturdy build, the stand is surprisingly good, and the tap-to-mute is handy. The red lighting is a love-it-or-hate-it design choice.
Should I Buy? If you want plug-and-play, high-quality voice for streaming, Discord, or work calls, this is a great option. Just keep in mind you may need noise suppression or software filters if you’re in a noisy room.

Perfect Mic for Streamers and Content Creators!
Style: QuadCast 2 S
The HyperX QuadCast 2 S is hands down the best microphone I’ve ever used. From its sleek design to its exceptional audio quality, this mic exceeded my expectations in every way.
Key Features I Loved:
Crystal Clear Audio: The QuadCast 2 S delivers professional-grade sound. My voice comes through crisp and natural, with no distortion or background noise, even in a noisy room.
RGB Lighting: The customizable lighting adds such a cool aesthetic to my setup! It’s fully adjustable and syncs perfectly with other RGB devices.
Built-In Pop Filter: This is a game changer! No need for extra attachments – the integrated pop filter works like a charm, eliminating plosive sounds effortlessly.
Tap-to-Mute Sensor: The mute function is super responsive and the LED indicator ensures I never accidentally stay muted.
Multiple Pickup Patterns: Whether I’m streaming solo, doing a podcast, or having a group chat, the cardioid, omnidirectional, bidirectional, and stereo modes cover all scenarios.
Setup & Compatibility
It was ridiculously easy to set up. Just plug it in, and it’s ready to go. It’s compatible with PC, PS5, and even works with popular streaming software like OBS and Discord.
One Minor Flaw:
The only small downside is that it’s a bit pricey. But honestly, considering the quality and features, it’s worth every penny.
If you’re a streamer, podcaster, or just someone who wants a high-quality microphone for meetings and gaming, the HyperX QuadCast 2 S is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Great mic, little pricy, but its dipping the toes into higher end mics so its understandable
Style: QuadCast 2 S
I had been using knock off apple earbuds for a long time(i still do for audio haha) but lately people have been complaining my mic cuts out or is too quiet etc - so i finally gave in and got myself this mic - not a single word since(except how much better it is). You could probably do ASMR on this if you wanted to lol - it has all sorts of audio modes. I like the single directional one since I have a wall right in front of me (and behind the mic) so sound bounces the wall and would normally cause an echo, but this mic just ignores it and sounds great regardless. Its very well made, I don't think anyone would have anything bad to say about the build quality, its got a nice metal frame and a built in pop filter which is good enough for my use. It is just plug and play. If you have a little money to spare and are looking for a mic - I don't think you can go wrong with this one
