There are lots of lovely antique garments still around, but every once in a while I come across one that is definitely a showstopper.  This is an extraordinarily beautiful 1920's sheer black mixed lace dance dress in stunning wearable condition which is becoming harder to find. Hundreds of glossy gunmetal silver glass beads and impressive black corded embroidery cover most of the sheer dress in an absolutely stunning large-scale deco floral motif. The garment's simple unstructured style is so modern; the skillful embellishment is a treasure trove of needle art. I especially love the front beaded fringe pleated skirt detailing. This workmanship is of the highest quality and must have taken weeks to complete. We added many pictures because words can not fully describe all the details of this masterpiece. A wearable work of art!

This 1920's antique sheer-net embroidered dress is in beautiful wearable condition with no stains, discoloration or holes. The garment slips over the head with hidden snaps by the upper back. I’m a weirdo and don’t like to walk around barefoot. So, these help me feel like I’ve got socks on while allowing my toes to breathe. I just wear them around the house. They can work as flipflop socks for a quick trip to the mailbox. I do like to randomly hit the occasional yoga pose so the grippiness is helpful in that regard. I have wide feet and have not found the toe openings to be tight or any other fit problems. So far they have survived standard machine washing.Unfortunately, when I first tried on a pair, the material started to rip. I wear a 7-7.5 shoe size. I think these are made for smaller feet. The material is thin and doesn't stretch. The colors are pretty and it's a good price. I have to return them due to being too small. If you have smaller feet, they are worth trying.
