long babydoll dress 1960s Ivory Babydoll Minidress With Lace AppliquéThis incredibly chic, unique vintage ivory babydoll dress makes for such a stunning vintage bridal option. This incredibly chic, unique vintage ivory babydoll dress makes for such a stunning vintage bridal option. Its singular silhouette, with a slight peacock train, reminds me of the dresses Cristóbal Balenciaga was known for in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Two box pleats on either side of the back create volume at the back hips, while the front has a relatively slimmer silhouette, with a fitted bodice that flares into an A-line shape. It was originally made in the 1960s, and lovingly restored and altered by me and my seamstress, making it completely one-of-a-kind. It is crafted from ivory duchesse satin, with lace appliqué and hand-embellished pearls and colorless beads. The sleeves are meant to be looser towards the top with a sort of dropped armhole and dropped shoulders, and pleats at the elbow, all of which is give it that distinct vintage midcentury flare. It features pointed cuffs, with pearl buttons all the way down the back and at the cuffs. The hem is sloped to be slightly shorter in the front, in keeping with that peacock train look. It would be very chic worn over pants or a skirt as a tunic as well.

Measurements: This will fit a range of sizes depending on desired fit, as it can be worn less fitted (as shown on model size X-Small). Will likely best fit a size Small and Medium but please refer to below measurements to be sure.
Shoulders: 17"
Chest: 36.5"
Empire waist: 30"
Hips are free
Sleeves: 23.5" from shoulder to longest point (pointed cuff)
Length: 32" from shoulder to longest point in the back; 28.25" from shoulder to very shortest front point; 24.75" down center front from neckline to hem (NOTE: hem could be let out about 1.5" if desired. It is shown on a model 5'10" so it will look less short on someone shorter).

Good vintage condition, with some minor wear commensurate with age, including some minor light scuffing to fabric and minor discoloration, which do not detract from the overall beauty and wearability of the dress, which presents beautifully. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email [email protected] for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.

Indestructible, but maybe too much?
Color: Orange, Size: Medium
Not too enticing for my dog, but, it is definitely indestructible! He chews on it every so often, but less than I had expected. I think the material is so rock hard that it offers little incentive for him to chew on it.

Best I've Tried
Color: Blue Shark, Size: Medium
With my pitty pup, there's no such thing as an indestructible toy, but this has been the most impressive so far. It's lasted days vs the typical minutes his new toys survive. It has a squeaker, but no fluff, and this has been great. He's been trying to get at if for a long time with no success! He has tore thru the rubber portion, but there's still plenty of play left in this toy. The 3 different textures keep him interested vs the hard material toys he rejects or chews on them too long and I worry about tooth wear. Definitely buying more.

Dog loves them.
Size: Medium, Style: Beef
They make excellent toys that hold up to a bulldog that chews. He loves these toys.

My dogs love them
Size: Large, Style: Peanut Butter
One of the few toys my pit bulls can't break. They absolutely love these toys and play chase with them. Usually, they can break toys in less than 5 minutes, but not these.

Size: Large, Style: Peanut Butter
Dogs love - all 3 dogs have been playing with them for last week non stop. One bone is a little small for large dogs which is only reason its 4 stars
